Steamboat Green Building Hosts Workshop

As summer emerges in Steamboat Springs (hopefully) home improvements are top of mind for many.  If you are interested in learning more about sustainable building in Steamboat, there is a great workshop coming to town on Thursday, June 3rd at the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel. From 8:30-4:30, Justin Wilson of Building Performance Solutions will educate you about the fundamentals of building science and the principals of green building.

A snapshot of the program includes:

  • Introduction to Green Building Elements and why it matters
  • Building science principals and why 3rd party verification and testing is essential
  • Water management and building durability
  • Energy efficiency and thermal envelope
  • Indoor environmental quality
  • Material and resource use

COST:Steamboat Home Builders Association (HBA) Member - $15,  Non-Member - $25,  Chamber of Commerce Member - $21 Advance registration required.
