Big Head Todd and The Monsters will play a benefit concert Wednesday at the Steamboat Grand for Dave Genchi, the Steamboat Powdercats photographer and videographer who was seriously injured in a snowboarding accident earlier this year. Tickets are $30. On Thursday the band takes to the stage for a free concert in Gondola Square and you can catch an interview with the band Thursday morning on Steamboat TV 18.

Photographers for Genchi
Posted March 01, 2007Steamboat Magazine's finest photographers, many of whom are nationally recognized, have each donated their finest images for an on-line auction to raise money for injured photographer Dave Genchi. Dave is currently in Craig Hospital in Denver, recovering from spinal injuries suffered while snowboarding in December 2006. Photographics Art is creating one fine-art print of each image, approximately 18 x 26 inches, on watercolor paper. Each print is signed by the photographer.
