Nine years of his technical experience in structural and civil engineering have been in work on high-end residential and commercial building projects throughout Routt County. "My background has given me in-depth understanding of buildings and difficult lots, a practical perspective to benefit my real estate clients." A dedicated athlete, Barkley was a member of the U.S. Ski Team for moguls before knee injuries sidelined him and led him to discover cycling. He soon became a pro level road and mountain bike racer. He has been Steamboat's mountain bike race series overall champion for the past four years, as well as mentor to community athletes and leader of local training rides. His engineering and athletic successes have been the result of hard work, honesty and perseverance. His clients will benefit from these qualities in achieving their real estate objectives. Barkley is a fifth generation Colorado native, graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and Steamboat Springs resident since 1998.
