David is a graduate of Boston University where he studied history with a concentration in Native American studies. He has always had a fascination with the West. He has over 25 years of experience in various positions in the real estate and insurance fields. He has continued his studies to include pursuing his G.R.I. designation. David has received his Certificate for the Land Stewardship classes at Colorado Mountain College. These classes focus on various aspects of Ranch Management. David is active in the local community, and serves as a volunteer at The Humble Ranch here in Steamboat. Humble Ranch runs an equine assisted therapy program for children and adults with disabilities. David has a 19 year old son who competes for the Steamboat Winter Sports Club. He was a Junior Olympian and Rocky Mountain ½ Pipe Ski Champion. In his spare time, David enjoys living the Steamboat Lifestyle. He enjoys skiing, golf, bike riding, fly fishing and hiking in the mountains around Steamboat. He is a regular at the Steamboat rodeo and enjoys attending the concerts at Strings in the Mountains. He plays acoustic guitar. David owns a beautiful Paint Horse named Spirit Dancer. He is an avid horseman and enjoys working with clients seeking ranch and equestrian property, as well as any other type of property. His knowledge of the Yampa Valley and Northwest Colorado are helpful when working with clients.
